One of the big reasons why many Canadians aren't where they need to be financially is because the financial services industry is sales-based and rigged for the Advisors and their firms to do better than their clients. 

That's a bold statement, but is exactly why I created OnPoint. Let me explain...

Having spent years working at financial services agencies run by insurance companies, and private equity firms pushing proprietary product, I just wasn't feeling like my clients were getting UNBIASED advice.

So I broke free, became Independent and partnered with HUB Financial who enables me to deliver a coaching platform centered on advice.

My Back Story

I always knew I wanted to go far in life. My dream as a kid was to be an MLB Baseball Umpire, so after graduating from Collage I went the to The Academy of Professional Umpiring and and was later selected to attend Spring training. I reached the AA level, then realised the lifestyle wasn't for me.

I decided then I was gong to either go into law enforcement or became a Financial Advisor... well, I guess we know what path I took!

Since 2001 I have lead wealth management teams for First West Credit Union, Sun Life Financial, Coast Capital Savings, InvestX Capital and Desjardins. 

I have even operated a Shack Shine Franchise under the 1800 GOT JUNK brands. So I know how money works, what it takes to scale and exit a business and help you retire sooner with more.
