One of the big reasons I sold my financial planning practice in 2015 was because I was fed up with the industry. Everythig was sales based and rigged for the Advisors and their firms to do better than their clients.
New technology has since spawned innovative products and regulations have eased allowed for more creativity which enables me to deliver a coaching platform for you today centred on advice.

My Back Story
I always knew I wanted to go far in life. My dream as a kid was to be an MLB Baseball Umpire, so after graduating from Collage I went the to The Academy of Professional Umpiring and and was later selected to attend Spring training. I reached the AA level, then realised the lifestyle wasn't for me.
I decided then I was gong to either go into law enforcement or became a Financial Advisor... well, I guess we know what path I took!
Since 2001 I have lead wealth management teams for First West Credit Union, Sun Life Financial, Coast Capital Savings, InvestX Capital and Desjardins.
I built and sold my own financial planning practice and have operated a Shack Shine Franchise under the 1800 GOT JUNK brands. So I know how money works, what it takes to scale and exit a business.
Now it's time to help you become free from salesy Advisors and give you a solid path to be a DIY investor.

Why I Do It
Financial literacy is not a term I ever heard growing up. While my parents did their best to provide for our family, they lived paycheck to paycheck most of their lives. Seeing my family struggle inspired me to aim higher. But despite my best efforts, I still found myself drowning in debt in my early adult life.
Once I was debt-free, I realised that the methods I used could help others like me who wanted the same but didn’t grow up with the framework to make it happen. So I made it my mission to help as many people as possible create healthy financial habits and a better life for themselves and their families.
